This can be the case if you’re relocating and want the grave of a loved one to be placed close to your new residence or if you later wish to have the remains cremated.

Show a final tribute to your deceased loved one. Even if you were present when the casket was lowered, it might be quite challenging to locate a specific deceased person’s grave in a cemetery without a tombstone.

Steps to follow in the unfortunate event of a loved one passing away

Loved one passes away at home due to NATURAL CAUSES, eg. illness:

CALL:

  • The Ambulance
  • The Undertaker
  • Family and friends for support
 

Loved one passes away at home due to UNNATURAL CAUSES, eg. suicide:

CALL:

  • The Ambulance
  • The nearest Police Station
  • Family and friends for support
 

Loved one passes away at a HOSPITAL

The Hospital Staff will give you guidance in both natural and unnatural cases

CALL:

  • The Undertaker of your preference
  • Family and friends for support

 

In all cases the ID document of the deceased will be required.

Symptoms of Grief

The pain of loss can feel overwhelming, but there are healthy ways to cope with your grief and learn to heal.

Shock

Shock  Numbness, manifested in feelings of severe anxiety, unreality, helplessness, sometimes the result of change in a wide range of emotions. Counselors should listen without giving unsolicited advice.

Guilt

Guilt Caused by remorse, regret, feelings of relief, usually occur in deaths due to suicide. Deaths are never the result of God’s judgement. Counselors need to listen with kindness and acceptance, understand the mourner’s courage to share their feelings about guilt as they realize the reality of their grief. In the case of true mourning (rather mourning “guilt”), recognition and reconciliation are necessary to resolve this guilt.

Anger

Anger with themselves, the medical staff, the clergy, God the person “responsible” for the death, or any person or organization that may I: involved in the death of their loved one. Anger i normal – allow this depiction of anger without rationalization or it may lead to bitterness and alienation from family and friends.

Reorganization

Reorganization can begin by restructuring life without the person who died. “To let go.” Accepting loss is critical to realizing that things will never be the same again, but will not necessarily be worse. Financial partners may change; new friendships may be formed. Counselors be aware that no mourner will follow the same established pattern, the pace of the process must be determined by the mourner. If the mourner gel stuck, professional help should be called in to help them with the process at their own pace. short, a friendly and sympathetic ear Is needed -be a good listener.
